Research Briefs

The Oklahoma Autism Network works to provide information in useful formats that help parents, individuals with autism spectrum disorders and the educational and medical communities.  We are in the process of looking at available research for the highest levels of evidence concerning autism spectrum disorders.  We have provided several research briefs that each summarize a research article including the purpose of the research, the results of the study, and the implications for children, parents, and providers.  It is important to evaluate and to understand the strength of the research process and findings.  Valid research follows a scientific process, and it is helpful to use the levels of evidence classification to evaluate the findings.
