Adulthood (21+ years)

Services are available to eligible students with disabilities from the local school district through age 21.  Beyond the age of 21 other state funding sources assume the responsibility for services.  Services for people with disabilities over the age of 21 are referred to as ‘adult services'.

The primary agencies responsible for providing services for adults with disabilities are listed below.  Each agency has different requirements a person must meet to be eligible for the program and provides different services.   We provide a brief overview of the services available on our website but encourage you to contact the individual agency for additional information.
